We all have good memories from our childhood of spending our free time playing with friends and family - creating things out of nothing, running, jumping, hiding, getting muddy, generally having fun and learning so much without really realising it!
The benefits of innovative and challenging play facilities and activities for children and young people are well documented and include reducing the likelihood of ill health and obesity, improving children's physical and mental health and reducing anti-social behaviour.
