Many organisations find they need advice and assistance to carry out specific assignments outside their day-to-day work but do not have the time or resources. Employing an unknown or untested consultant is a huge risk for a small voluntary or community organisation with limited funds. Lack of knowledge of the issues facing rural communities can often limit the usefulness of the consultant's work.
As the local rural community council, Cambridgeshire ACRE has an intimate knowledge and understanding of the problems and opportunities facing voluntary and community sector organisations.

Our consultancy reports are jargon-free, with clear recommendations for the future and support for follow-up actions. We remain available for any follow-up consultation, as and when required.
Those who use our consultancy service are entitled to one year's free membership of Cambridgeshire ACRE which ensures clients are kept abreast of developments to our services and up to date with other opportunities that may arise.
