Consultancy

Although many community groups benefit from Cambridgeshire ACRE's services through public funding, many find they require more support than public funding allows. Therefore Cambridgeshire ACRE is able to offer consultancy services to voluntary and community sector organisations.

Many organisations find they need advice and assistance to carry out specific assignments outside their day-to-day work but do not have the time or resources. Employing an unknown or untested consultant is a huge risk for a small voluntary or community organisation with limited funds. Lack of knowledge of the issues facing rural communities can often limit the usefulness of the consultant's work.

As the local rural community council, Cambridgeshire ACRE has an intimate knowledge and understanding of the problems and opportunities facing voluntary and community sector organisations.

Cambridgeshire ACRE can offer specialist support in the fields of:

Our consultants have diverse skills, are from varying backgrounds and have many years experience in commercial, public and voluntary sectors.

Before embarking on any work we visit the client and conduct an assessment of need, jointly agreeing outcomes and methods of delivery so there are no hidden costs.

Our consultancy reports are jargon-free, with clear recommendations for the future and support for follow-up actions. We remain available for any follow-up consultation, as and when required.

Those who use our consultancy service are entitled to one year's free membership of Cambridgeshire ACRE which ensures clients are kept abreast of developments to our services and up to date with other opportunities that may arise.
