Energy Audits for Community Buildings
Cambridgeshire ACRE is committed to bringing the benefits of energy efficiency to local rural communities through improvements to community buildings.
Many community buildings are cold, draughty and hard to heat. Improving their energy efficiency is an ideal vehicle for increasing awareness of the need to use energy efficiently and potentially encourages users to make energy saving improvements in their own homes.
A building improvement programme can therefore achieve increased comfort, reduced fuel bills, improved public awareness and increased income from letting.
A major difficulty for management committees is how to prioritise the work to be carried out. An energy audit report by Cambridgeshire ACRE guides you through the energy information available, to enable you to make accurate and cost effective decisions about your building.
We will inspect your building and produce a full report including recommendations for steps to be taken to improve energy efficiency and possible sources of funding.
Our staff have been trained by NEA (National Energy Audit) to conduct audits on community buildings.
Cost: £285 + travel costs.
