Funding Available
In general, the LAG will look to provide grants from £10,000 to £100,000 per enterprise and depending on the activity, size of the business and relevance to programme objectives the funding will contribute between
20%-60% towards the overall project cost. Details on the kind of activities supported can be found within the FARDP prospectus.

First contact the programme team
If you are considering applying for funding, first contact the programme team for initial guidance on whether your idea is eligible and has the potential to secure support from the LAG. It is also
recommended that you have a copy of the programme prospectus to hand when calling the team. The team can then guide you through the prospectus to determine whether your idea fits with
the relevant measures outlined in section 4. There is however some basic eligibility criteria that all applicants will need to pass in order to be considered for funding. A list of these criteria can
be found here.
How will projects be selected?
Assuming that your initial discussion with the programme team is positive, you will then enter into the application process. A flowchart of this process can be found on page 8 of the prospectus.
The decision on whether your project should receive support, and to what extent, will be made by the LAG. The LAG, aware of ‘commercially confidential sensitivities’, will discuss all applications
at the project concept stage, providing relevant challenge and support which the programme team will then feedback to applicant.
What next
The first stage of the application process is to complete an ideas form, this is a simple document where you can provide a brief description of your business idea, and
what benefits it will bring. Download a copy of the ideas form. Once completed, this should be emailed to the Fens
Adventurers Programme Team, whose details can be found in the Contact Us section.
