Funding Available
In general, the LAG will look to provide grants from £10,000 to £250,000 per enterprise and depending on the activity, size of the business and relevance to programme objectives the funding will contribute between
20%-40% towards the overall project cost. Details on the kind of activities supported can be found within the FARDP prospectus.

First contact the programme team
It is essential to contact the programme team for guidance on whether your idea is eligible and has the potential to secure support from the LAG. The programme team will support you with the process and advise on the likelihood of securing support. There is however some basic eligibility criteria that all applicants will need to pass in order to be considered for funding. A list of these criteria can
be found here.
Completing the application form...
Assuming that your initial discussion with the programme team is positive, you will then enter into the application process. See a flowchart here.
If you are seeking less than £100,000 of RDPE funding we have a 'fast-track' application form with a two stage process progressing from Idea to Business Case. For RDPE investment over £100,000 a third stage of Concept will be completed between Idea and Business Case.
For fast track applications, if all information can be gathered promptly, we hope to complete the process within 8 weeks. Full three-stage applications will take longer, but we hope to complete the process within four months.
The funding decision...
The decision on whether your project should receive support, and to what extent, will be made by the LAG. All LAG members are bound by commercial confidentiality and will discuss all fast track applications at the Business Case stage (less than £100,000). All other projects will be assessed by the LAG at the Concept and Business Case stages. Members will provide relevant challenges and support which the programme team then feeds back to applicants.
