William Collyn Community Centre Manager

Cambridgeshire ACRE is working on behalf of the Girton Town Charity to set-up, manage and run its William Collyn Community Centre, a new, purpose-built community facility for Girton.

The Community Centre Manager will play a key role in managing and ensuring the smooth running of the William Collyn Community Centre. Important aspects of the job are to develop the business; to maximise use of the available facilities; and to identify new opportunities by means of effective marketing, networking and innovative solutions. The Manager will work to ensure the Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates for the benefit of local residents and organisations.

The successful applicant is likely to have experience of working with people and community groups in a front-facing role, organising events, running marketing and engagement campaigns as well as managing digital communication channels including websites, Facebook and Twitter. You will need a professional attitude and approach to the management of the Centre, first rate customer service skills, a positive approach to team-working and be confident, innovative and able to work under pressure.
