Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Rural Services Survey 2007

The results of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Rural Services Survey 2007 are now available to download. Please click here to access the report.

The survey, which nearly every parish and settlement with a population under 10,000 in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough completed, requested detailed information about local services. The comprehensive results will now be used by Cambridgeshire ACRE to inform the future development of community support services and lobby on issues of concern to rural communities. They have already been used to lobby Post Office Limited on the recent closure plans. Service providers can use the results to influence the delivery of public services in the county. Communities can use them for lobbying, fundraising and planning their activities.

Our conference on 25th September, 'Revive and Thrive - community-based solutions for rural services', will look at the results in more detail and discuss the future of rural services. Please see below for more details.

The raw data that was collected is also available to download, please click here to access it.
