Payroll

If you manage a small voluntary or community sector organisation then running monthly payroll for your employees can be quite a responsibility.

If you are an employer of staff then you are legally obliged to:

  • Register as an employer with HM Revenue & Customs.
  • Give employees a record of their payments and deductions.
  • Deduct tax and National Insurance Contributions from employees whose earnings are equal to, or more than, the Lower Earnings Limit.
  • Pay to HM Revenue & Customs the Tax and National Insurance contributions deducted from your employees.
  • Set up and maintain adequate payroll records.
  • Make annual returns.
  • Make statutory payments to employees where appropriate.

Cambridgeshire ACRE offers a complete and cost-effective payroll service, tailored to the needs of voluntary and community sector organisations.

Our service eliminates the need for you to employ dedicated payroll staff and provides production of all pay-slips, calculation of statutory payments (e.g. sick pay and maternity pay) and completion of year-end returns.

Cambridgeshire ACRE's expert team has many years of experience and qualification in payroll administration and use the latest payroll software to ensure you are always in compliance with latest changes in payroll legislation.

We provide an individual service, both practical and easy to use. We will respond to your queries via telephone, e-mail or in person at our office in Littleport.
