Rural Issue Papers

Cambridgeshire ACRE has published a series of Rural Issue Papers that focus in on specific, key, rural issues.

Each paper begins by giving a national overview and reviewing the key policy drivers behind the issue. The papers go on to offer evidence within a Cambridgeshire/Peterborough context, before setting out Cambridgeshire ACRE’s stance on the issue and our ambitions to try to resolve the issue.

The papers link to our delivery of community level products and services in order to demonstrate how our work is focused around having a real impact in helping to resolve local issues.

There are papers available on:

  • Affordable Rural Housing
  • Community Facilities
  • Rural Economy and Skills
  • Rural Poverty and Deprivation
  • Rural Voice and Community Engagement

The papers are currently being updated but should be re-available to download from ‘Resources and Downloads’ at the beginning of February 2012. Anyone with an interest in any of these subjects is encouraged to read these papers to widen their local knowledge.
