Rural Services Survey
Cambridgeshire ACRE undertakes a survey on rural services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough every three years. The last survey took place in December 2010.
By collecting data on rural services every three years, we are able to continue to monitor the extent of rural service change and decline.
The information collected is used by:
- Cambridgeshire ACRE to inform the future development of community support services;
- Local government and other local service providers to influence the delivery of services to rural communities;
- Cambridgeshire ACRE and partner organisations to lobby on issues of concern to rural communities.
All parishes in Cambridgeshire are asked to complete a survey and it is important that as many as possible take part to build a full picture of current rural service provision and to ensure the comparisons we draw are meaningful.
