Cambridgeshire Rural Forum
 

The Cambridgeshire Rural Forum brings together local rural stakeholders to act as a voice for the county's rural communities, and to promote their well being through its activities. The Forum is made up of representatives from a range of regional and county-level public, voluntary and community sector organisations with a stake in rural communities.
 

A Network:
To establish an inclusive Forum by building and joining up networks between all those with a stake in the well being of Cambridgeshire's rural communities.

A Listening Post:
To provide an inclusive focal point for consultation with and listening to all parts of Cambridgeshire's rural communities.

An Agenda:
To establish an agenda and clear set of strategic objectives and priorities by drawing out and joining up the issues of concern to all parts of Cambridgeshire's rural communities.

A Champion:
To promote the agenda and priorities of Cambridgeshire's rural communities in the policies, programmes and budgets of the community and voluntary sector and public agencies.

A Catalyst:
To improve the well being of Cambridgeshire's rural communities by promoting new ways of working and allocation of resources.

A Capacity Builder:
To initiate, promote and, where appropriate, lead initiatives to build community and voluntary sector capacity in communities of interest and place.

A Learner:
To establish and maintain an understanding of issues and best practice in improving the well being of all parts of Cambridgeshire's rural communities.

An Evaluator:
To review the performance and impact of the Forum.
