In our experience, learners sometimes find it difficult to apply the concepts that they learn in training back in their own environment. Trainees are sometimes expected to fit in with the training on offer, rather than the training being moulded to the trainees' particular needs.
At Cambridgeshire ACRE we offer a choice of flexible accredited and non-accredited courses run in the workplace or a setting of your choosing.
Ahead of training delivery, we make an assessment of your exact requirements so we can agree the outcomes that you want up-front. We can then tailor our training to meet your requirements in terms of the length and frequency of group-based sessions and the amount of tutorial support provided.
Our trainers conduct an analysis of the trainees' preferred learning styles at the beginning of the course so they can tailor their delivery so as to best meet the groups' needs. Ongoing tutorial support is provided for longer courses whereby a personal tutor is assigned to guide trainees through any written or practical assignments.
Comprehensive learner materials are provided so that learners have a written record of their learning and achievements that they can refer back to as needed. At the end of a course, a written report is also presented to the client capturing the group's achievements.
Learning can be part of a wider package linked to our Consultancy Service. For example, we can provide an assessment of an organisation, its training and wider needs and follow this up with specialist support.
We currently offer the following training courses:
These courses cover a vast range of learning topics relating to communities and their development. The individual elements can be combined in many ways so as to best meet client need.
