Training for Village Hall Management Committees
Village Hall management committee members must ensure they are fully aware of their responsibilities as Trustees with regard to legislative and Charity Commission requirements.
We offer a one-day training course called ‘Managing Your Community Building’ which has been designed to address this common training need. The programme is delivered in two distinct modules:
- Understanding and complying with the requirements of the hall’s charitable status.
- Understanding and complying with current legislation.
The training programme is supported with comprehensive study materials. A learning pack is provided for each delegate.
The Management Committee will also receive a ‘Managing Your Community Building’ manual that they will be able to keep for future reference. The manual includes CD-ROMs containing model documents for many of the policies a hall needs in order to run successfully.
Cost: £865 + £3 per delegate + travel.
