Cambridgeshire ACRE is once again working with its partners, the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Association of Local Councils and Cambridgeshire County Council, to undertake a biennial survey of the County’s town and parish council clerks and chairpersons.
Separate surveys are underway for both clerks and chairpersons and this year’s surveys are a follow-up to the ones completed in 2017 and 2019. The findings will allow us to refresh the Cambridgeshire Local Council Development Plan that guides our work with local councils.
All local council clerks and chairpersons should have received a direct email providing a link to access the relevant survey. A results report will be prepared once the surveys close on 13 September and highlights will be shared with all local councils in due course. The updated Local Council Development Plan will then be launched in the annual Cambridgeshire Local Council Conference in December.
If any clerk or chairperson doesn’t believe they have received an invitation to take part, we would urge them to drop up a message so we can provide a further link.
