East Cambridgeshire District Council has announced a new ‘Growth and Infrastructure Fund’ that will provide capital funding towards infrastructure projects necessary to deliver sustainable growth and improve quality of life for residents across the district.
This funding is suitable for things like village halls, public open spaces and cycle & footpath improvements as well as other local infrastructure like transport, health care, social, cultural, education and recreational facilities.
Please note that this is only capital funding and cannot be used for routine operating costs or other revenue expenditure. There is no minimum or maximum amount but you will need to provide some match funding (10%) and funds cannot be used for projects on which work has already commenced.
