Staff and trustees from Cambridgeshire ACRE gathered in Cambridge this week for an important away-day to map out ideas for the future strategy of the charity.
The away-day gave recently-appointed staff members (and those who’ve been here longer) the opportunity to meet, work and network with the trustees of the charity; an important process to experience to gain an overall understanding of how the charity operates from a board’s perspective. The combined team took part in various activities throughout the day including the breakdown of project implementation and its importance in the community, along with a session on creating new project ideas to implement in the future.
These sessions where staff and trustees come together are crucial to the ongoing success of the charity. The ability for all members of Cambridgeshire ACRE to work together and shine a light on all areas of work gives the charity the opportunity to identify its strengths and tackle any perceived weaknesses.
We would like to thank all for attending and for St John’s Innovation Centre for their hospitality and catering.
