Working in partnership and providing consultancy
How we can help
The nature of our work means that our offering is split between partnership working and consultancy.
Cambridgeshire ACRE works with a wide range of partners, as most of the work undertaken involves collaboration and joint delivery of projects.
We also often gets requests from organisations and communities to provide further in-depth expertise and support on:
- research
- public consultation
- partnership management and development
- project development and funding
- rural economic development
- community/voluntary and cultural sector engagement
We can offer:
- research and analysis: Policy research, analysis and evaluations to support social, economic and environmental development across rural areas
- feasibility and design: Undertaking feasibility studies for new programmes or ideas bringing design-led thinking
- community engagement: Advising on community engagement strategies, facilitating consultation and partnership development
- monitoring and evaluation: Assessing the impact of grant-funded programmes and other projects
- strategy and development: Business strategy development for rural communities. This includes Local Development Strategies and Business Plans
If you choose Cambridgeshire ACRE for your consultancy needs, you will be helping to contribute to our charitable work, meaning that your money goes directly back into the communities where it is most needed.
Additionally, Cambridgeshire ACRE is a (founding) member of Cirican, a consultancy organisation that brings together 18 members of ACRE Network from across England to provide research and consultancy services at a larger scale. This provides us with access to further specialisms and expertise when needed.
We welcome any opportunity to discuss how we might support communities and organisations move forward and achieve their goals or approaches from new partners that would like to explore ideas and work with us in the future.
