Cambridgeshire ACRE leads two well-established place-making partnerships, Wisbech Community-Led Local Development and Cambridgeshire Fens LEADER LAG, that work through a LEADER approach to achieving sustainable rural development, the economy and employment.

The UK Government has announced its commitment to levelling-up across the whole of the United Kingdom to ensure that no community is left behind. New investment programmes that support local economic growth and social mobility to regenerate our town centres and high streets, support individuals into employment, improve local transport links and invest in local culture will give new opportunities to communities.
Our commitment is to continue to develop and deliver projects that lever in funding to strengthen rural businesses, encourage support networks that bring people together and lead community-led development programmes that increases people’s life chances.
